Kirkintilloch Golf Club is a picturesque 18 hole course, originally laid out by the legendary James Braid in 1895. It sits among a rolling layout with spectacular views of the Campsie Fells, within easy reach of Glasgow and is the home course of Kirkintilloch, often referred to as the ‘canal capital of Scotland’. It is a great test of golf and is regarded by many as having the finest greens in the county.
Facilities include a large practice ground, putting and chipping green adjacent to the clubhouse and a 3-bay netted warm up area for those who desire a pre round routine. You will always be assured of a warm welcome to make sure you enjoy your time with us. After your game you are welcome to relax in our lounge where a large selection of drinks and bar food is available.

A reminder that on Ryder Cup Singles day (Sunday 30th of September) we have a fun team competition open to the first 36 entrants (entry sheet is in the gents locker room). Competition will be a a shotgun start at 8:30 followed by breakfast just in time for the Ryder Cup singles action starting. Entry fee is £5 including breakfast voucher and prizes. Further details can be found in the flyer below. There will also be special drink promotions throughout the day.

A list of medal winners who have qualified for the medal final on Saturday 15th September has been posted in the gents locker room. If you are unable to play in this competition please delete your name from the list.
An entry sheet has been posted in the locker room for our Ryder Cup competition on Sunday 30th September. Two teams captained by club captain Malcolm Campbell and club champion Colin Peddie will be drawn at random for a 9 hole matchplay competition. Food and beverage special offers will be available on the day and, of course, full coverage of the Ryder Cup singles will be shown on the big screen.

Following the completion of the final monthly medal of the year on Saturday, the draw has now been made and finalised for the Medal Finals next Saturday. The final three qualifiers
were G.Halkett, G.Halliday and I.McBride from Division 1/2/3 respectively - congratulations to all. The draw sheet is attached below and the tee-times added to
BRS. Thank you to those who qualified but indicated that they were unavailable to play, should anyone else become
unavailable for Saturday, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Graeme in the
professional shop as soon as possible.
Three additional tee times have now been released following the Medal Finals i.e. 9:16, 9:24 and 9:32) that had been reserved but weren't required, these are now free to book for the Tri-Am competition running on Saturday. Just a reminder that this is a three-man team better-ball competition and is non-qualifying for handicap purposes.

A number of members have already taken up our special visiting society offer of £25 for a round of golf, bacon roll and two course dinner but we still have space for any other member looking to bring their work or social golf group along.
