Welcome to Kirkintilloch GC, the family club since 1895

Our James Braid designed par 70 course and golf club was born in 1895 and is situated to the north east of Glasgow in the town of Kirkintilloch. One of the main reasons we receive so many visitors each year to our club is that our course is one of the finest parkland courses in the area. Our "History" page on this website charts a wonderful historical account of our Club's birth and its growth.

We always offer a warm welcome to visitors, and on arrival you will receive a friendly welcome from our PGA Advanced Professional, Colin Fairweather. We offer extensive practice facilties and a full bar and catering service.

Whether you are coming to KGC for a relaxing "bounce" game with friends, playing a team match, part of a visting party or taking part in one of our many Open Competitions we are convinced you will not be disappointed with what we have to offer. Hopefully you will enjoy it that much we may just welcome you back as a member one day.  If you do pay us a visit, have a great day and remember the three golden rules of your visit with us:-

  • Relax - you work hard so make the most of your leisure time
  • Enjoy - don't worry about how you play there is always another day
  • Come Back - if you enjoyed your day out please come back and tell your friends
