Kirkintilloch Golf Club is a picturesque 18 hole course, originally laid out by the legendary James Braid in 1895. It sits among a rolling layout with spectacular views of the Campsie Fells, within easy reach of Glasgow and is the home course of Kirkintilloch, often referred to as the ‘canal capital of Scotland’. It is a great test of golf and is regarded by many as having the finest greens in the county.
Facilities include a large practice ground, putting and chipping green adjacent to the clubhouse and a 3-bay netted warm up area for those who desire a pre round routine.
Our Advanced PGA Professional Colin Fairweather has a warm welcome for everyone and he is on hand to make sure you enjoy your time with us. After your game you are welcome to relax in our lounge where a large selection of drinks and bar food is available.

Following the Defibrillator Fundraising Dance on Saturday 14th October, the organising committee are absolutely delighted to announce that we raised an unbelievable, final figure of £4500!!
We cannot thank enough those 90+ people who attended the dance and made it a fantastic evening. We would also like to say thankyou to those who donated an incredible array of excellent auction and raffle prizes. However, the biggest vote of thanks goes to everyone who bought loads of raffle tickets and in particular the individuals (too many to name), who placed extraordinary bids for the amazing auction items! Final thanks also go to the bar staff for feeding and watering us throughout the night and the brilliant band "Killer City Sound" who entertained us.
Our next steps are to source a defibrillator unit by getting the best possible deal and we are pursuing a few avenues on this. We will need to retain a small amount of the funds for materials to erect signage on the course for use in the event of an emergency. We will of course liaise with the business council and the greenkeeping team on this in due course. The final thing to mention is that can each of the auction winners please get in touch with any of the organising committee to let us know when we can collect any oustanding monies for the auction items.
