Dress Code & Local Rules
Kirkintilloch Golf Club is a progressive club and therefore now operates a more relaxed dress code policy than some clubs. "Smart but casual" applies in the clubhouse with jeans and collared shirts permitted. Collarless shirts, t-shirts, trainers, football tops and tracksuits are NOT allowed. On the course jeans and trainers are not permitted, and when our Scottish summer occasionally permits, tailored shorts are permitted. Mobile phones and smoking are NOT allowed in the clubhouse, however an outside smoking area is available.
Our golf course local rules can be found on the back of course score cards please refer to these closely and observe them at all times. PLEASE AVOID SLOW PLAY AT ALL TIMES AND ALWAYS KEEP UP WITH THE GAME IN FRONT.
ALSO, PLEASE REPAIR DIVOTS AND PITCH MARKS AT ALL TIMES, AND IF TIME PERMITS PLEASE ALSO REPAIR AT LEAST ONE OTHER PITCH MARK, THIS WILL HELP KEEP OUR COURSE IN PRIME CONDITION.
If visiting us for a round during winter then the please be aware that to protect our fairways mats must be used or the ball played from the rough. Mats may be purchased from behind the clubhouse bar for a small fee.
